INGREDIENTS
6 oz Top Sirloin Steak (170g)
100g Baby Potatoes
1 Garlic Clove
1 Tbsp Fresh Mixed Herbs
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
0.5 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for the roasted baby potatoes.
In a bowl, toss the baby potatoes with extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, pepper, and the fresh chopped herbs. Arrange them on a baking tray.
Roast the potatoes in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.
Meanwhile, pat the steak dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached.
In the last minute of searing, add the unsalted butter and garlic to the pan. Spoon the melted herb-garlic butter over the steak to enhance its flavor.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the steak with a generous serving of roasted baby potatoes and drizzle any remaining pan juices over the dish for extra flavor.
