INGREDIENTS
0.33 cup Almond Flour (40g)
1 scoop Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (30g)
2 Egg Whites (66g)
0.25 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (60g)
1 teaspoon Baking Powder (4g)
1 tablespoon Maple Syrup (20g)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan with a bit of non-stick spray or oil.
In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, whey protein powder, and baking powder. Mix until evenly incorporated.
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until slightly frothy, then add the unsweetened almond milk and maple syrup.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the donuts light and fluffy.
Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden and a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
