Enjoy a vibrant and crispy tofu stir-fry packed with colorful vegetables and a hint of sesame, perfect for a balanced meal any time of day. The tofu is lightly crisped to perfection and tossed in a zesty soy-sesame sauce that complements the freshness of red bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, and snap peas.
INGREDIENTS
400g Firm Tofu
1 medium Red Bell Pepper
1 cup Broccoli
1 medium Carrot
1/2 cup Snap Peas
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Ginger
PREPARATION
Press the firm tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into 1-inch cubes.
In a non-stick pan, heat half of the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until they turn golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add the remaining sesame oil and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add chopped red bell pepper, broccoli florets, sliced carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
Return the crispy tofu to the pan and drizzle with soy sauce. Toss everything together gently to ensure even distribution of flavors.
Continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes so the tofu absorbs the sauce, then remove from heat and serve immediately.
