Enjoy a vibrant plate of thinly sliced lean beef seared to perfection, tossed with charred bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion, all accented with a drizzle of sesame oil and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds, creating a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Lean Sirloin Beef (142g)
1 medium Red Bell Pepper (120g)
1 medium Zucchini (196g)
1/4 medium Red Onion (40g)
1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds (9g)
1 tsp Sesame Oil (5g)
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, minced (2g)
1 tsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce (5g)
PREPARATION
Thinly slice the lean sirloin beef against the grain into bite-sized strips.
Cut the red bell pepper into strips, slice the zucchini into half-moons, and thinly slice the red onion.
Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil and allow it to warm.
Add the beef to the pan and sear for about 2-3 minutes until it begins to brown, then remove it temporarily.
In the same pan, add the red bell pepper, zucchini, and red onion. Sprinkle with minced ginger and stir-fry until the vegetables get a slight char, about 3-4 minutes.
Return the beef to the pan and drizzle with the low-sodium soy sauce. Stir everything together for another 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.
Transfer the stir-fry to a serving plate and sprinkle evenly with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
