Savor these light, hand-folded dumplings packed with lean chicken, grated cauliflower, and a hint of aromatic ginger and garlic. Perfectly balanced for a wholesome meal that refreshes and satisfies without weighing you down.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz Chicken Breast
1 cup Cauliflower, chopped
2 Egg Whites
1 stalk Green Onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, minced
4 Whole Wheat Dumpling Wrappers
Pinch Salt
Pinch Ground Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Finely dice the chicken breast and pulse the cauliflower in a food processor until coarsely grated. Combine them in a bowl.
Add the egg whites, minced garlic, minced ginger, and chopped green onion. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Mix the filling thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Place a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface and add about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a little water, fold over, and press the edges to seal over 2-3 sides. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
Steam the dumplings in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper for about 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the wrappers are tender.
Serve warm, optionally with a light dipping sauce of your choice.
