Herb-Garlic Butter Seared Steak with Roasted Baby Potatoes
Enjoy a beautifully seared lean sirloin steak complemented by roasted baby potatoes tossed in a fragrant herb-garlic butter. This dish is perfectly balanced with enough protein to keep you energized, while the crisp potatoes and aromatic herbs provide a delightful contrast in texture and flavor.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Lean Sirloin Steak
1 medium Baby Potato
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
1 Garlic Clove
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Wash the baby potato thoroughly and cut it into halves if larger, then toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy on the outside and tender inside.
While the potatoes roast, pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time to your preferred doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, add the unsalted butter and the crushed garlic clove to the skillet. Spoon the herb-garlic butter over the steak as it finishes cooking.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
Garnish the steak with chopped fresh parsley before serving alongside the roasted baby potatoes.
