INGREDIENTS
4 oz Lean Ground Beef (113g)
1 medium Sweet Potato (120g)
1 cup Green Beans (120g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
2 cloves Garlic (6g)
1 tsp Mixed Dried Herbs
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Peel and cut the sweet potato into small cubes. Toss the cubes lightly with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a few drops of olive oil, then spread them out on a baking tray.
Roast the sweet potato cubes in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized at the edges.
While the sweet potato roasts, prepare the green beans by trimming the ends. In a small pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add the green beans. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until crisp-tender and infused with garlic flavor. Season with salt and pepper.
In a separate skillet, cook the lean ground beef over medium heat. Break it apart and let it brown for about 6-8 minutes. When nearly done, stir in the mixed dried herbs and season with salt and pepper.
Assemble your bowl by placing the roasted sweet potato at the base, topping with the cooked ground beef, and adding a side of garlic green beans.
Serve warm and enjoy your balanced, protein-packed meal!
