Herb-Crusted Pan Seared Salmon with Garlic Rice
Enjoy a perfectly pan-seared salmon fillet enveloped in a light herb crust paired with a fragrant garlic-infused rice. This dish balances the rich, buttery flavor of salmon with the subtle zest of garlic and herbs for a satisfying, clean meal that's as nourishing as it is delicious.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1/2 cup cooked White Rice
2 Garlic Cloves
2 Tbsp Fresh Mixed Herbs (Parsley & Thyme)
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix the chopped fresh herbs with a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper. Press this herb mixture onto the surface of the salmon fillet.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillet skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until a crust forms and the salmon is cooked to your liking.
While the salmon is cooking, warm the cooked rice in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Plate the garlic rice as a base and place the herb-crusted salmon on top.
Finish with an additional light drizzle of olive oil if desired and serve immediately.
