Savor a beautifully seared lean steak accented with a fragrant herb-garlic butter, perfectly paired with crispy roasted baby potatoes. The dish combines rich flavors and enticing aromas for a satisfying dinner that’s aligned with clean, balanced eating.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Lean Sirloin Steak
100 grams Baby Potatoes
1 tsp Unsalted Butter (Herb-Garlic Infused)
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Parsley & Thyme)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and half of the minced garlic. Spread them out on a baking sheet.
Roast the potatoes in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they are golden and crisp.
Meanwhile, pat the steak dry and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust the time based on desired doneness).
In the final minute of cooking, add the remaining minced garlic and the herb-garlic butter to the skillet, spooning the melted mixture over the steak.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak with a serving of roasted baby potatoes. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
