INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup Broccoli (chopped)
1/2 cup Carrot (sliced)
1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper (sliced)
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (minced)
1 clove Garlic (minced)
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
1 tsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
PREPARATION
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce to make the glaze.
Pat the salmon fillet dry and brush one side generously with the glaze.
Place the salmon, glazed-side down, in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden.
Flip the salmon and pour a little of the remaining glaze over it, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
While the salmon cooks, steam the broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper until just tender.
Once cooked, plate the salmon atop the bed of sesame vegetables and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top.
Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and serve immediately.
