Seared Salmon Fillet with Quinoa and Garlic Green Beans
Enjoy a beautifully seared salmon fillet paired with a light serving of quinoa and garlic sautéed green beans. This dish is a balanced, savory dinner with tender fish, fluffy quinoa, and crisp green beans lightly infused with garlic and olive oil.
INGREDIENTS
5.5 oz Salmon Fillet (156g)
1/3 cup cooked Quinoa (58g)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
1 clove Garlic
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillet skin-side down and sear for about 3-4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the fish is just cooked through.
While the salmon is cooking, prepare the quinoa if not already done. If using pre-cooked quinoa, warm it gently.
Heat a small pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp of olive oil. Add minced garlic (from 1 clove) along with the green beans and sauté for 4-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
Plate the cooked quinoa, top with the seared salmon, and arrange the garlic green beans on the side. Serve immediately.
