INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin Steak
1/2 cup Baby Potatoes (halved)
1 tbsp Butter
1 clove Garlic
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread on a baking sheet.
Roast the potatoes in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.
Season the steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, add butter and a crushed garlic clove to the skillet, spooning the melted herb-garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the skillet and allow it to rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve the seared steak with the roasted baby potatoes on the side.
