INGREDIENTS
6 ounces Salmon Fillet
1/4 cup Shelled Pistachios
1 tablespoon Miso Paste
1 teaspoon Honey
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F to finish the salmon after searing.
Coarsely chop the pistachios using a food processor or a knife. Transfer them to a shallow dish.
In a small bowl, mix the miso paste, honey, and lemon juice until smooth.
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper. Brush the miso glaze evenly over the top of the salmon.
Press the chopped pistachios onto the glazed side of the salmon, ensuring an even crust.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, place the salmon crust-side down and sear for 2 minutes until crispy.
Flip the salmon gently and sear the other side for 1 minute.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
