INGREDIENTS
190g Salmon Fillet
1 cup Asparagus (134g)
1 cup Cauliflower (150g)
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Season the salmon fillet lightly with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Place the salmon fillet skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for about 3-4 minutes until a golden crust forms, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the salmon is just cooked through.
While the salmon is searing, steam the asparagus in a steamer or lightly simmer in a small amount of water for about 4-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
For the cauliflower mash, steam the cauliflower florets along with the garlic clove for about 8-10 minutes until soft. Transfer to a bowl and mash until smooth, seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the steamed asparagus and a generous serving of cauliflower mash. Serve immediately and enjoy.
