Pan-Seared Garlic Steak with Sunny-Side Eggs
Enjoy a beautifully seared sirloin steak elevated with aromatic garlic, paired with perfectly sunny-side eggs. This dish balances the rich, savory flavors of the meat with the fresh brightness of garlic and the creaminess of eggs, creating a satisfying meal ideal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
INGREDIENTS
4 ounces Sirloin Steak
2 Large Eggs
1 clove Garlic, minced
0.5 tablespoon Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the sirloin steak dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Once the oil shimmers, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic to the pan to infuse the steak with its flavor, spooning the melted oil and garlic over the meat.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Using the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and crack the eggs carefully into the pan to make sunny-side up eggs. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook the eggs until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny, about 2-3 minutes.
Plate the rested steak and top or serve the eggs on the side.
