Lemon Herb Pan Seared Tilapia with Garlic Butter Sauce
Enjoy a light and flavorful tilapia dish, pan-seared to perfection and drizzled with a zesty garlic butter sauce. Fresh lemon and herbs elevate the tender fish, making it a delightful, satisfying meal ideal for a wholesome dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Tilapia Fillet
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 cloves Garlic
1 medium Lemon
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the tilapia fillet dry with paper towels and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the teaspoon of olive oil.
Once the oil is shimmering, place the tilapia fillet in the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until it develops a golden crust.
Flip the tilapia and add the unsalted butter along with the minced garlic (from 2 cloves). Allow the butter to melt and infuse with garlic.
Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the fish and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the fillet continuously.
Remove the tilapia from the pan, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately with the remaining garlic butter sauce drizzled on top.
