1 cup Asparagus (approx. 134g)
1 cup Cauliflower (roughly chopped, approx. 107g)
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, place the salmon fillet skin-side down and sear for about 4 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes or until your desired doneness is reached.
While the salmon cooks, steam the asparagus by placing it in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 4-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
For the cauliflower mash, steam the chopped cauliflower along with the garlic clove (whole) for about 8-10 minutes until very tender.
