Enjoy a vibrant twist on salmon, featuring a crunchy pistachio crust paired with a lively citrus-ginger glaze that elevates each bite with a refreshing zing. This dish balances rich, buttery salmon with the nutty crunch of lightly toasted pistachios, perfectly complemented by a tangy and subtly sweet glaze.
INGREDIENTS
5 oz Salmon Fillet
1/4 cup Shelled Pistachios, unsalted
2 tbsp Fresh Orange Juice
1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 tsp Honey
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Brush the salmon fillet lightly with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
In a food processor, pulse the pistachios until coarsely chopped. You can also chop them manually if preferred.
Press the chopped pistachios onto the top of the salmon fillet to form an even crust.
In a small bowl, combine the fresh orange juice, lemon juice, grated ginger, and honey to create the citrus-ginger glaze.
Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle half of the glaze over the top.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the oven, drizzle the remaining glaze over it, and serve immediately.
