INGREDIENTS
5 oz Chicken Tenders
1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
2 tbsp Fresh Mixed Herbs
2 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup Chicken Broth
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken tenders dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
In a shallow bowl, mix the whole wheat flour with the fresh mixed herbs, a pinch of salt and pepper.
Dredge the chicken tenders in the flour-herb mixture, shaking off any excess.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken tenders and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom. Allow the sauce to simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly reduced.
Return the chicken tenders to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them to coat well.
Plate the chicken tenders and drizzle any remaining sauce on top. Serve immediately.
