INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Rolled Oats (40g)
4 Egg Whites (approx. 120g)
1/2 cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt (120g)
1 scoop Whey Protein Powder (30g)
1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup (20g)
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon (2.6g)
1/2 tsp Baking Powder (2g)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a ring mold pan or a muffin tin with removable rings.
In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, ground cinnamon, and baking powder.
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until slightly frothy. Then stir in the nonfat Greek yogurt and maple syrup until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes so the oats can soften slightly.
Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared ring molds or muffin cups. Smooth the tops with the back of a spoon.
Bake for 18-22 minutes or until the rings are set and golden around the edges. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
Remove the rings from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Carefully remove them from the molds.
Enjoy warm, or let them cool completely and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a quick protein-rich snack any time of the day.
