INGREDIENTS
6.5 oz Turkey Breast
1 cup Asparagus Spears
1 cup Cauliflower
3 tsp Olive Oil
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
1 tsp Garlic Powder
PREPARATION
Pat the turkey breast dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp of olive oil.
Sear the turkey breast for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a golden brown crust forms. Check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F. Remove from pan and let rest.
Meanwhile, steam the asparagus in a steamer or a covered pan with a splash of water for about 4-5 minutes until tender yet crisp.
For the cauliflower mash, boil or steam the cauliflower florets until soft, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and transfer to a bowl.
Add the remaining 2 tsp of olive oil to the cauliflower along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Mash until smooth with small lumps remaining for texture.
Plate the seared turkey breast alongside the steamed asparagus and a generous serving of cauliflower mash. Serve warm.
