Enjoy a perfectly seared sirloin steak enhanced by a fragrant herb-garlic butter, paired with crispy roasted baby potatoes. This dish delivers tender, juicy steak alongside savory, crunchy potatoes—a harmonious, satisfying meal with vibrant flavors and a delightful finish.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak
150 g Baby Potatoes
1 tsp Unsalted Butter
2 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Rosemary & Thyme)
1 tsp Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F for the baby potatoes.
Toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and half of the fresh herbs. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for about 20-25 minutes until crispy on the outside and tender inside.
Season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Sear the steak for about 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on desired doneness.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add the unsalted butter, minced garlic, and remaining herbs to the pan. Once the butter melts, spoon this herb-garlic butter over the steak continuously for about 1 minute to infuse flavor.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak with a side of roasted baby potatoes and drizzle any remaining pan juices over the top.
