INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast
8 oz White Button Mushrooms
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
3 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Black Pepper
PREPARATION
Pat the chicken breast dry and season both sides with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breast for about 5-6 minutes per side until it’s golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt.
Add the minced garlic (from 3 cloves) to the butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the sliced white button mushrooms to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and start to caramelize, absorbing the garlic butter.
Slice the rested chicken breast and arrange it on a plate. Spoon the caramelized garlic butter mushrooms over the chicken.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
