INGREDIENTS
6 oz Pork Chop
2 Garlic Cloves
1 tbsp Fresh Herb Mix (Rosemary & Thyme)
1 tsp Olive Oil
0.5 oz Chopped Walnuts
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Place the garlic cloves on a small piece of foil, drizzle with a small amount of olive oil, wrap the cloves, and roast in the oven for about 20 minutes or until they are soft and fragrant.
While the garlic roasts, pat the pork chop dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together the chopped fresh herb mix and chopped walnuts.
Season the pork chop with salt and pepper, then press the herb-walnut mixture onto both sides of the chop to form a crust.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add the teaspoon of olive oil.
Place the pork chop in the pan and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until a golden crust forms and the pork chop reaches your desired level of doneness.
Remove the pork chop from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Plate the pork chop and add the roasted garlic alongside. Serve immediately and enjoy the harmonious blend of savory herbs and rich pork flavors.
