INGREDIENTS
6 oz Baby Back Ribs
1 tsp Brown Sugar
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your smoker or oven to 250°F.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to form the dry rub.
Pat the baby back ribs dry with paper towels and generously rub the spice mix over all sides of the ribs.
If using a smoker, place the ribs bone-side down and smoke for about 3 to 4 hours until tender. If using an oven, wrap the ribs tightly in foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours before unwrapping and placing under the broiler for a few minutes to develop a slight char.
Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
