INGREDIENTS
1 piece 6oz Pork Chop (170g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (for pork chop)
1 bunch half portion Asparagus (134g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (for asparagus)
2 cloves Garlic
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
Salt and Black Pepper (to taste)
PREPARATION
Pat the pork chop dry and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and a couple of finely minced garlic cloves.
Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chop and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side until a golden crust forms and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
While the pork chop is resting, trim the tough ends off the asparagus. Heat another small pan over medium heat with 1 teaspoon olive oil.
Add the asparagus along with the remaining minced garlic, a couple of thyme sprigs, and rosemary. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the asparagus is tender-crisp.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Plate the pork chop alongside the garlic herb asparagus and serve immediately.
