Enjoy a delightful dinner featuring a perfectly seared wild salmon fillet paired with tender green beans and a creamy cauliflower mash. The dish balances robust flavors and textures while being light and nourishing, making it ideal for a clean, protein-rich meal.
INGREDIENTS
6.5 oz Wild Salmon Fillet (184g)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
1 cup Cauliflower (107g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (4.5g)
1 tbsp Lemon Juice (15g)
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Drizzle with a little lemon juice.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon fillet skin-side down first, about 3-4 minutes per side, until a golden crust forms and the salmon flakes easily.
Meanwhile, steam the green beans in a steamer basket over boiling water for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
Break the cauliflower into florets and steam or boil until very tender, about 8-10 minutes.
Place the cauliflower in a bowl and add olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the steamed green beans and cauliflower mash. Finish with an extra drizzle of lemon juice if desired.
