INGREDIENTS
175g Lean Ground Beef (90% lean)
125g Green Beans
1 medium Onion (50g)
1 medium Tomato (50g)
1 tsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Ginger (grated)
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add the finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger, and sauté until the onions become soft and translucent.
Add the lean ground beef to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until the beef is browned.
Stir in the diced tomato along with turmeric, cumin, coriander, and garam masala. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Allow the spices to infuse the beef mixture, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the flavors meld.
Meanwhile, steam the green beans until they are tender-crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
Plate a serving of the beef keema alongside the steamed green beans. Serve warm and enjoy your balanced, flavorful Pakistani-inspired lunch.
