INGREDIENTS
5 oz Sirloin Steak (142g)
100g Potatoes
100g Green Beans
1 tsp Butter
1 Garlic Clove
Pinch Salt
Pinch Black Pepper
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F for roasting the potatoes and green beans.
Toss the diced potatoes in a light drizzle of olive oil (optional), salt, and pepper, and spread them on a baking sheet.
Roast the potatoes in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Meanwhile, trim the green beans and toss them with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add them to another baking sheet and roast for roughly 15-20 minutes until tender.
Season the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side depending on desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add the butter and crushed garlic to the skillet, spooning the melting garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Plate the steak alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and tender green beans, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
