INGREDIENTS
1 medium Apple (182g)
1/3 cup Rolled Oats (27g)
1 scoop Vegan Pea Protein Powder (30g)
1/2 scoop Vegan Pea Protein Powder (15g)
1 tbsp Chopped Walnuts (7g)
1 tbsp Almond Butter (16g)
1 tsp Maple Syrup (7g)
1 tsp Coconut Oil (4.5g)
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon (2.6g)
1 tsp Lemon Juice (5g)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Core and slice the apple into thin wedges. Toss the apple slices in a bowl with lemon juice and ground cinnamon.
Layer the apple slices in a small oven-safe dish.
In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, vegan pea protein powder (1 scoop + 1/2 scoop), chopped walnuts, and almond butter. Drizzle in the maple syrup and melted coconut oil; stir until the mixture is crumbly.
Evenly distribute the oat-protein mixture over the apple slices.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden and crisp.
Allow the crisp to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm as a satisfying meal at any time of day.
