Enjoy a beautifully seared salmon fillet elevated with a crisp garlic-green beans sauté and a hearty serving of nutty brown rice. This well-balanced plate delivers succulent flavors and satisfying textures, perfect for a nourishing dinner.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon Fillet (~200g)
1 cup cooked Brown Rice (~195g)
1 cup Green Beans (~125g)
1.5 tbsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
Salt and Pepper (to taste)
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat half of the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon skin-side down and sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the salmon and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Add the green beans to the skillet and stir-fry until they are tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Reheat the cooked brown rice if needed. Plate a serving of brown rice, top with the seared salmon, and arrange the garlic green beans on the side.
Finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil if desired and serve immediately.
