Enjoy a vibrant plate featuring perfectly pan-seared tuna paired with crisp roasted green beans, all kissed with a tangy lemon herb dressing. This dish delivers a delightful balance of flavors and textures, with the rich, savory tuna complemented by the fresh, zesty dressing over tender green beans.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Tuna Steak
1 cup Green Beans
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Mixed Dried Herbs (Thyme & Oregano)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for roasting the green beans.
Toss the green beans with half of the olive oil, a pinch of salt, and black pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
While the green beans roast, pat the tuna steak dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and the mixed dried herbs.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the remaining olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, add the tuna steak and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, depending on thickness, for a medium-rare finish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice with a pinch of salt and pepper to create the dressing.
Plate the seared tuna alongside the roasted green beans and drizzle the lemon herb dressing over the top. Serve immediately.
