Seared Salmon Fillet with Garlic Green Beans and Brown Rice
Enjoy a vibrant and balanced dinner featuring a perfectly seared salmon fillet served alongside garlic-infused green beans and wholesome brown rice. This dish celebrates fresh flavors with a hint of garlic warmth and a satisfying crunch from the green beans.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup Cooked Brown Rice
1 cup Green Beans
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
PREPARATION
Rinse and pat dry the salmon fillet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add half of the olive oil.
Place the salmon fillet skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for about 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
While the salmon is searing, trim and wash the green beans. In a separate pan, heat the remaining olive oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic to the green beans and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the green beans and continue to sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
Heat the cooked brown rice thoroughly if using pre-cooked rice, or prepare freshly cooked brown rice according to package instructions.
Plate the dish by placing a portion of brown rice, topping with the seared salmon, and serving the garlic green beans on the side. Optionally garnish with a squeeze of lemon.
