INGREDIENTS
4 ounces Top Sirloin Steak
1 medium Yukon Gold Potato (150g)
100 grams Green Beans
5 grams Butter
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F for roasting the potatoes.
Wash and dice the Yukon Gold potato into bite-sized cubes. Toss them with half of the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until golden and tender.
While the potatoes roast, trim and prepare the green beans by washing and snapping the ends off.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the green beans and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they become crisp-tender. Season with salt and pepper.
Season the top sirloin steak on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a separate skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time as needed for desired doneness.
In the last minute of cooking, add the butter and the minced garlic directly to the pan, spooning the melted garlic butter over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Plate the steak alongside the roasted potatoes and crispy green beans, drizzling any remaining garlic butter over the top.
