Enjoy a beautifully balanced dinner where tender, perfectly seared salmon pairs with crisp steamed green beans and silky garlic mashed cauliflower. The dish celebrates fresh flavors, fragrant garlic, and a hint of lemon that ties the meal together in a light yet satisfying plate.
INGREDIENTS
5.9 ounces Salmon Fillet (≈167 g)
1 cup Green Beans (≈125 g)
1 cup Cauliflower (≈107 g)
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
Sear the salmon skin-side down for about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the fish is just cooked through.
While the salmon cooks, steam the green beans in a steamer or in a covered pot with a small amount of water until tender crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, steam the cauliflower florets until soft (around 8-10 minutes). Transfer to a bowl, add the minced garlic and lemon juice, and mash until smooth. Adjust seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the steamed green beans and a generous scoop of garlic mashed cauliflower.
Finish with a light drizzle of olive oil over the top if desired and serve warm.
