INGREDIENTS
6 ounces Top Sirloin Steak
1 medium White Potato
1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves
2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (Rosemary & Thyme)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F for roasting the potatoes.
Wash the potato and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Toss the cubes in a mixing bowl with olive oil, a pinch of salt, pepper, and half of the chopped fresh herbs.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden, stirring halfway through.
While the potatoes are roasting, pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and the remaining herbs.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add the steak to the skillet along with the garlic cloves (crushed with the side of a knife) to infuse flavor.
Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time according to desired doneness).
Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak and garlic from the pan and let the steak rest for a few minutes.
Slice the steak against the grain and serve alongside the crispy roasted potatoes.
