Enjoy tender and juicy teriyaki-infused chicken paired with perfectly roasted broccoli. With a lightly crispy finish on the chicken and a hint of sesame aroma, this dish brings a culinary twist to classic comfort food for a satisfying dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 ounces Chicken Breast
1 cup Broccoli
2 tablespoons Low-Sodium Teriyaki Sauce
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
1 clove Garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger (grated)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
In a small bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Place the chicken breast on a plate and coat it evenly with the teriyaki mixture. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil and a pinch of salt if desired.
Arrange the marinated chicken on a baking sheet. Add the broccoli on the same or a separate sheet in a single layer.
Roast in the oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and the broccoli is tender and slightly crispy on the edges.
In the last 2 minutes of cooking, sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken to toast lightly.
Remove from the oven, let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve with the roasted broccoli.
