Teriyaki Glazed Salmon with Roasted Broccoli
Enjoy a delicious and vibrant meal featuring a succulent teriyaki-glazed salmon fillet paired with perfectly roasted broccoli. The dish is enhanced by a homemade teriyaki drizzle made with low sodium soy sauce and a touch of honey, complemented by the aromatic hints of garlic and ginger.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup chopped Broccoli
1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 tsp Honey
0.5 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1 Garlic Clove, minced
1 tsp Olive Oil
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together the low sodium soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the teriyaki glaze.
Place the salmon fillet on a plate and generously brush with half of the teriyaki glaze. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the broccoli.
In a bowl, toss the chopped broccoli with olive oil and a pinch of salt if desired.
Spread the broccoli out in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place the salmon fillet on another baking tray lined with parchment paper. Reserve extra glaze for finishing later.
Roast the broccoli and salmon in the oven. Roast the broccoli for about 15-18 minutes until tender and slightly crispy at the edges. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the oven and brush with the reserved teriyaki glaze.
Plate the salmon alongside the roasted broccoli and serve immediately.
