Enjoy a vibrant plate of succulent pan-seared chicken breast infused with garlic and fresh herbs, paired with crispy, tender roasted broccoli. This dish marries the savory warmth of herb-marinated chicken with the earthy crunch of broccoli, making it a delightful and balanced meal.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Chicken Breast
1 cup Broccoli
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Rosemary & Thyme)
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, fresh herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Pat the chicken breast dry and coat evenly with half of the herb mixture.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breast for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish.
Toss the broccoli with the remaining herb mixture and spread on a baking sheet.
Place both the chicken in the baking dish and the broccoli in the oven.
Roast the chicken for 15-18 minutes until fully cooked and the broccoli for about 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly crispy on the edges.
Remove from the oven, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, and serve the plate with chicken alongside roasted broccoli.
