INGREDIENTS
350 grams Extra Firm Tofu
2 tbsp Cornstarch
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tbsp Natural Peanut Butter
2 tbsp Water
1 tsp Rice Vinegar
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
2 tbsp Green Onions (Garnish)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, gently toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch, salt, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
Arrange the tofu on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tofu is golden and crispy.
While the tofu bakes, prepare the peanut sauce by whisking together the peanut butter, water, rice vinegar, soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and ginger powder in a small bowl until smooth.
Once the tofu is done baking, transfer it to a serving dish and drizzle generously with the peanut sauce.
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
