Savor the succulent flavor of a perfectly pan-seared pork chop paired with vibrant, zesty lemon garlic broccolini. This dish offers a light yet satisfying meal, featuring tender meat and crisp greens, all enhanced with bright citrus and aromatic garlic notes.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Pork Chop (170g)
1.5 cups Broccolini (135g)
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (5g)
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice (30g)
2 Garlic Cloves (6g)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the pork chop dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Once the oil is hot, add the pork chop and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
While the pork cooks, trim and wash the broccolini. In another pan or during the last couple of minutes of the pork, add the broccolini along with minced garlic.
Sauté the broccolini and garlic for about 3-4 minutes until the greens are tender yet crisp. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to combine.
Remove the pork chop from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
Plate the pork chop alongside the lemon garlic broccolini and serve immediately.
