INGREDIENTS
6 oz Lean Sirloin Steak (170g)
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (14g)
1 cup Baby Potatoes, halved or diced (150g)
1 cup Green Beans (125g)
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Salt, to taste
Black Pepper, to taste
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (optional, chopped)
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss the baby potatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper; spread them out on a baking sheet. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and tender.
While the potatoes are roasting, season the 6 oz steak generously with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the butter and let it melt.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Place the steak in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
In a separate pan or after the steak is cooked, lightly sauté the green beans in any remaining garlic butter for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice if desired and drizzle any pan juices over the top.
Plate the steak alongside the roasted potatoes and green beans. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if using, and serve immediately.
