INGREDIENTS
6.5 ounces Salmon Fillet (184g)
100 grams Sweet Potato
100 grams Green Beans
1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
Garlic Powder to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon fillet dry and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and a light dusting of garlic powder.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once shimmering, place the salmon skin-side down and sear for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Carefully flip the salmon and sear the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through but still moist in the center.
Meanwhile, peel (if desired) and cube the sweet potato. Boil in lightly salted water until tender, about 10-12 minutes, then drain and mash until smooth. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Steam the green beans until tender-crisp, approximately 5-7 minutes. You can add a pinch of salt for enhanced flavor.
Plate the seared salmon alongside a generous scoop of sweet potato mash and a side of steamed green beans. Serve immediately while warm.
