INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon Fillet (198g)
6 Asparagus Spears (90g)
1 cup chopped Cauliflower (107g)
2 Garlic Cloves (6g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (5g)
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter (14g)
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Place the salmon fillet skin-side down and sear for about 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness is reached.
While the salmon cooks, steam the asparagus until tender-crisp, approximately 4-5 minutes.
In a small pot, combine the chopped cauliflower and garlic with a splash of water. Simmer until the cauliflower is soft, about 8-10 minutes.
Drain the cauliflower and garlic, then mash them together with the unsalted butter until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Plate the seared salmon alongside the steamed asparagus and a generous serving of garlic mashed cauliflower. Serve immediately.
