Savor the rich taste of succulent lamb chops infused with garlic and fresh herbs, perfectly pan-seared to lock in flavor, and paired with tender roasted asparagus. This dish strikes a balance between savory and fresh, making it an elegant yet wholesome option for dinner.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Lamb Chop (170g)
1 cup Asparagus (134g)
1 tsp Olive Oil (4.5g)
1 Garlic Clove
2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the lamb chop dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Finely mince the garlic and roughly chop the rosemary and thyme. Rub the lamb with the garlic and herbs to infuse flavor.
Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.
Place the lamb chop in the hot pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until a desirable crust forms and the internal temperature reaches your preference.
While the lamb is cooking, preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss the asparagus with a light drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 8-10 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
Remove the lamb from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving alongside the roasted asparagus.
