Enjoy a hearty and flavorful dinner featuring a succulent pan-seared sirloin steak, infused with garlic and fresh herbs, paired with crispy roasted potatoes tossed in olive oil and seasoning. A perfect balance of savory and satisfying textures to fuel your day.
INGREDIENTS
6 oz Sirloin Steak
1 medium Potato (~120g)
1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Fresh Rosemary
1 tsp Fresh Thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 425°F for roasting the potatoes.
Wash and dice the potato into 1/2-inch cubes. Toss the cubes with half of the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 20-25 minutes until crisp and golden, stirring once halfway.
While the potatoes roast, pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and the chopped garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the remaining olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, place the steak in the pan.
Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the crispy roasted potatoes and serve immediately.
