Satisfy your taste buds with a delightful balance of crispy baked tofu paired with garlicky, roasted broccolini. This dish pairs perfectly with a light drizzle of olive oil and a dusting of cornstarch for that irresistible crunch, making it an ideal choice for any meal of the day.
INGREDIENTS
400 g Extra-Firm Tofu
150 g Broccolini
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves
2 tbsp Cornstarch
Salt, Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Press the extra-firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
In a bowl, gently toss the tofu cubes with cornstarch, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until evenly coated.
Arrange the tofu on one side of the baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with half of the olive oil.
On the other side, spread the broccolini evenly. Mince the garlic and sprinkle over the broccolini, then drizzle with the remaining olive oil and a pinch of salt.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning tofu halfway through, until the tofu is crispy and the broccolini is tender with slightly charred edges.
Remove from the oven, adjust seasonings if necessary, and serve warm.
