INGREDIENTS
6 oz Top Sirloin Steak
1 cup Green Beans
1 teaspoon Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove
1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
1 sprig Fresh Thyme
Salt and Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Preheat the oven to 425°F for roasting the green beans.
Trim the green beans and toss them in a bowl with 1 teaspoon olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the green beans on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly crisp.
While the green beans roast, pat the sirloin steak dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time based on desired doneness).
In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic (or crush a garlic clove) and fresh rosemary and thyme to the pan, spooning the infused oil over the steak.
Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
Plate the sliced steak alongside the roasted green beans and serve immediately.
