Seared Salmon with Garlic Green Beans and Cauliflower Mash
Enjoy a flavorful seared salmon paired with crisp garlic green beans and a silky cauliflower mash. This dish is elegantly balanced with a rich salmon center, lightly sautéed green beans infused with garlic, and a smooth, creamy mash that provides a comforting finish.
INGREDIENTS
7 oz Salmon Fillet
1 cup Green Beans
1 tsp Olive Oil (for green beans)
1 cup Cauliflower
1 tsp Olive Oil (for mash)
2 cloves Garlic
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Place the salmon skin-side down (if applicable) and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Steam or boil the green beans until just tender, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In the same skillet, add 1 teaspoon olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté briefly until fragrant, then add the green beans and toss to combine.
Steam the cauliflower until tender, then transfer to a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil, a pinch of salt and pepper, and mash until smooth and creamy.
Plate the salmon alongside a serving of garlic green beans and a generous scoop of cauliflower mash. Serve immediately.
