INGREDIENTS
5 ounces Pork Chop
8 spears Asparagus
1 teaspoon Olive Oil (for searing)
1 teaspoon Olive Oil (for roasting)
1 clove Garlic
2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
Salt & Pepper to taste
PREPARATION
Pat the pork chop dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chop and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness.
In the meantime, preheat your oven to 425°F. Toss the asparagus with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, and finely chopped garlic.
Spread the asparagus on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
Add fresh thyme and rosemary to both the pork chop (during the last minute of cooking) and over the asparagus for an aromatic finish.
Plate the pork chop alongside the roasted asparagus and serve immediately.
